Every year, the gastronomic festival Ein Prosit offers a different perspective of the Italian and international gastronomic scene, mixing young and historical chefs in the middle of the Italian fairy mountains.
This year, for its 20th anniversary, amazing international and Italian chefs have come together again to cook in the most relaxed and joyful way possible, such as Gaggan and Mauro Colagreco and 3* chef Niko Romito (Casadonna Reale, Castel di Sangro in Italy).
We attended one-of-a-kind breakfast in the Italian mountains, right under the sun, prepared by the legendary Pastry Master Corrado Assenza from Caffè Sicilia in Noto. As a child he used to work in the pastry laboratory with maestro Roberto, who taught him the secrets to make the finest cannoli, gelati, and granita in its humble tiny shop. Corrado is using only the best local produce and dairy from farms in the region.
All these exceptional moments ended in a different musical performance such as Gaggan, playing drums with his childhood idol, and Massive Attack and Portishead mixing catchy sounds until the early hours.
Thank you Einprosit and Paolo Vizzari for being the instigators of such a special event.
